MicronID’s
µDESK-xx-xx Desktop card readers and
reader/writers are effective and high performance solutions for all your
smart card applications. Available for 125 kHz EM4102, Hitag 1, Hitag 2,
Hitag S, EM4150, Temic T5567, Q5 and 13,56 MHz Mifare (1K, 4K, Desfire,
Ultralight), Legic (Prime, Advant), Multi-ISO (ISO14443A, ISO14443B,
ISO15693) as well as HID PROX or HID iCLASS technologies, and equipped
with USB and RS232 data outputs, these systems are ideally suited
for a wide variety of applications, particularly access control, time
clock and POS system.
The
Desktop reader can function in either of 2 operating modes : as keyboard
emulation (without the need for specific drivers, just plug into the
computer system) or as a virtual COM-port offering full access to the
transponder.

The µDESK Desktop reader
is also available as PCB only version for easy integration in any kind of
existing applications.
